[pic Request]**crashed Black G Before And After**
Does anybody have a picture of a black g35 that has been in an accident and came back from the body shop (before & after or just after)...
ex)repainted, replaced part with new paint...any Black G35 with new paint job..
The body shop I went to, that guy kept saying he didn't do anything wrong. He said that black paint is hard to have perfection, so other body shops can't do it right either.... so i don't have any proof.
True or BS...????Need proof for small claims court..thanks~!!
This is what he did...
https://g35driver.com/forums/interior-exterior/112320-look-what-bodyshop-did-my-car.html
he refuse to pay me back for another shop to fix it..
Keep saying he will try again..
since that pictures show third try of his job..i can't trust him anymore

listen
if that was me, i would throw everything back in his face
wtf is that? is he serious?
if you havent done this already, go there point every single mistake to his face and see what he says then.
i would be sooo mad if i was in your place right now.
wow
your only other option would be to take it the legal way..
hire a lawyer.. (which i would dread)

I mean.....He already tried 3 times...-_-;;;everytime it got worse..;;
still...he doesn't want to payme back..
when i asked for detailing cost...he was like"I don't see any problem with buffing...looks more clean...i cleaned all the dust on your car..."
OMG...he said he couldn't find swirls...
if he is that old...he better quit and retire...
I don't want him to touch my car again...

Who is your Insurance company?? This is what i would have done if i was in your position, actually similar situation happened to my uncle's Es300. Anyways contact your insurance agent & explain them the whole situation & request to have one of the insurance appraiser/agent to come & inspect your vechicle asap. By looking at the pictures that you posted it's a no brainer in another words any body in there rite mind will tell you that the body shop did a horrible job on your vechicle. Based on that i am pretty sure your insurance company will take your side. Have your insurance company directly contact your body shop & worst comes to worst if the Bodyshop people still gives you hard time about how there unable to match the paint. Then tell them in that case repaint the whole car. As i mention similar situation happened to my uncle & he did what i exactly was telling you to do & at last they end up repainting his whole car. Keeps updated.

Do a search for OB Coupes with body kits... All the OB's on here w/ body kits have great matched paint jobs. The hardest paint to match is Pearl White because it is a 3 stage... I have heard the easiest to match is black. I have TB and I got a GREAT match on my body work.
Have you seen this thread yet? This is OB with alot of aftermarket parts... This paint job matches GREAT!

This is a sad story. +1 on calling your insurance company. I always take my car to a body shop I know.
Hope you get that resolved quickly. I also have black and had someone clip me on the rear side and had my rear bumper and side fender painted and the paint came out perfect.
Good luck and let us know whats up.

paint should be made off of ur car not what factory paint code is.. cause black can be many shades depending on how well it was taken care of. also if ur front bumper (For example) was repainted ur hood & fenders should've been blended to the front..
especially if this was in an accident and insurance was involved because he shouldnt have a budget limit.. hes being cheap or inexperienced.. this probably wont happen but tell ur lawyer that you want to take ur car to another shop but bill the other shop..

well about a month or two ago my car was parked in the neighborhood street and some dumb @$$ soccer mom backed into the side of it. Within 5 mins of this happening I drove to an Acura/Honda body shop that I have once used with my NSX and when I got the car back it was exactly like new or even better. So basically the guy is full of ****.
