I was at The Plant last weekend enjoying a beef sammich over at Al's Beef... walked out and besides my LR there were 2 others all in the same lot area.

Both those had the spoiler... Think I'm one of the only fastbacks tho.

both looked stock. 1 had chromed rims the other had tinted windows...

 

 

The headlights are over the top for my tastes but everything else is NICE! I love an aggressive looking LR! Good job man.

Good. I hate when ppl put so much money into making it look sporty, yet they don't even have a z tube lol.

 

Yeah I see alot of that, Ive been going to car shows an I see a bunch of cars with wide rims stretched tires & slammed ..... But all stock motor. Maybe it's just me but I can't spend $4000 on rims then $1500-$2000 in coils or airbags to slam it , with all that money I could of got the car boosted ......but that's just me

 

Agree on not liking the headlights and ironing board wing has gotta go but love those 370 nismo wheels!

 

The wing is gonna stay on till, headlights will be replaced but not for a lil bit I'm not a fan of the aftermarket headlight so I would rather wait for a set of OEM lights

 

Well this is because the guys spending 4K plus on wheels and suspension are going for looks, not performance. "Low and Slow" They aren't gonna be tracking their cars or even driving it that ahgresively. I like both styles. I'm 1 of the guys trying to find a happy medium with my current ride.

So not everyone wants to make a fast G. It's a beautiful car that has a timeless look and a lot of the stance guys know this. They also know that the G is a gawd damn boat and very hard to make fast without dumping a ton of money into it. Kudos to you for having plans for engine work. I can't wait to see your build thread whenever it does start.
