I think most people choose black with the red because it is the color that just makes more sense. We have all seen those red cars that have other crazy colors and it all ends up looking like something a bunch of clowns would jump out from. Red and gold looks nice too but it has to be very subtle. The problem with gray and red is that it does not stand out as nicely as red and black do, unless it is a very dark gray.
I like the red and CF look and I would have done my roof in CF to more closely match the hood and trunk, but none of the vinyl wraps looked better than a gloss black. Also the over $600 price tag was too much for just a thin CF cover. Maybe in the future I will paint my rims and headlights a dark shade of gun metal gray to more closely match the CF theme.

only other LR 2004 I have seen is at the dealer lot corner of Stevens Creek & Saratoga... that one is tinted with aftermarket rims tho...

god only knows my low mileage G cost me a bit extra, but was worth it to get a 1 owner unmolested car with under 20k miles

Lucky lol i bought mine 1 previous owner 75k miles unmolested. There was one 07 LR G 32k miles. i was really tempted to trade.
