My engine is on FIRE!
Lol, With my SSV intake gone I needed some bling in my bay. I cut the stock engine cover up to show more of the motor. I wanted to shoot the inside black and outer part blue. I sanded primed then laid the colors down. I still thought it needed something! So I turned it over to my buddy in the shop. This is his 4th attempt at real fire flames. I think he did a hell of a job so I cleared it and stuck with it. Its not bolted down yet but I wanted to take some pics anyway.

Naw I hear ya. I just figured it was worth the sacrifice. Hes also learning how to do the other colors. But I dont get the other color thing. The idea of true fire to me is REAL looking as possible. Ive been on him to do these more and leave the other colors alone. That way he can get REAL good at them. Theres lot of money to be made out there with all the old guys and hot rods.

I agree with NismoG, blue flames would have been more to my liking, orange doesn't go with Blue that much, unless of course you're a Florida Gator fan like some of the weirdos that frequent these boards
Overall, I think few would argue that you do have the nicest coupe on these boards, hands down.
