Its authentic alright. Im not sure what you mean by gap issues, but the space between the hood and grill is the weatherstrip that is attached to the hood, no empty space

its authentic because i sold it to him and i know where its from =) he is right, there is a weatherstrip from the hood to the grill.

it could be the angle of his picture but here is the grill on my car again (from my for sale thread)

Even in your pic, you can see that the gap in the middle of the hood is slightly more than at the edges, look at Devil Dog's pics to see what I mean, his follows the curves of the hood more from what I can see, granted his is still unpainted.

but if the authentic one has a gap.. then.. well.. i guess its overs hahah

you have to be really **** to have something like that bother you though

I wonder if the grill sags over time, is it fiberglass or frp? Becuase I think FRP has a tendancy to sag a little bit.
