i started out on a 06 gsxr 600. as long as you have the general idea of how to ride a motorcycle and take the MSF course youll be good. i had a slight idea how to ride but never got the chance. i bought a bike, took the course and was riding comfortably a week later and started using the bike to have fun with about a month after riding.

honestly though i would start out with something smaller or like a sport cruiser. i wouldnt recommend super sport bikes for a beginner after being in that situation. i overestimated my skills and wrecked pretty bad after a month of having it.

this is a great bike, dont get me wrong. i just dont think it would be a good first bike.

I miss my bike and it's in the garage!

Ever since I got this car...and my baby was born the bike has taken a walk to the back of the line.

I like the Kawi-so many standard features on it are special upgrades for other manufacturers.
