Engine Bay Pics*Post here*
Thats good to know. Thanks! I just figured sense they where open at the ends it would let enough air to keep cool. I've had them on for about a year now and haven't had a problem yet. But putting vents in them shouldn't be a problem. If its cool with the forum/mods I can start making some up. Its going to take me a couple of weeks to get everything set up. I'll put up a feeler soon to see who all interested in them. Please let me know any other ideas you guys might have for covers. I can see what it will take to get that done.
Coil failure occurred after about a year of using covers. After having to replace coil packs and ECM once did not want to go through it again.
Not a VQ but still in the Nissan family
. Had the opportunity to be a part of this SEMA build for a friend. Special thanks to Randy, Techno Square, Earl's Store 1, Kaliedoscope, High End Performance NY, ACE, Cobb Tuning Socal ,SSR Wheels, More-Japan, and my R-Rydes' familia.

Awesome pix Marty of the GTR engine bay with tons of work by Randy Riggs of R-Rydes!
Great job with putting this together along with other engine bays of members of this forum!
Love the ARP fasteners as well... Ballin!
I saw this monster in person... and oh my gawd! BEAST MODE!
Here's pix I took from my iphone:

I love how the 60 mph on the gauge cluster is near the bottom and it goes over 220 mph! Daymn!
So it's hard to tell how fast you are going when the needle is pointing downwards!

Randy did the same with my engine in my G35 as well, but obviously not a monster engine like this one, but polished pretty much everything himself, including over 200 bolts by hand! The other parts were done by Kaliedoscope.

yes i know may come across as ignorant, or stupid. However ive never owned a g35 and am a newb when it comes to this type of car, reason i ask about the dipstick is on my car it sits kinda odd and its very diffictult to get a accurate reading, so i want to see what another 04 looks like to see if my dipstick is the oem one from my car, im sure you get the point of my post now...
These cars are known for having awkward dipstick design, and yes indeed they are horrible at giving good readings.
Mine is painted blue (they are originally yellow) you can see it next to the oil cap.

If you have any more questions about it, you are welcome to private message (PM) me.
