Which brings me to my final question:

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to make the air filter on a JWT TT kit look good in a G without having that ridiculously dumb looking heat shield around it? I just feel like after I clean up my engine bay, the heat shield will just be looking sore and out of place. This is from an engine bay aesthetics viewpoint, but obviously without ruining performance.

So far, all I can think of is blocking it off more like the owner did in the above fx35 engine bay, rather than have it connect to the middle air rerouter piece. I want to get rid of that, anyway. If you dont know what it looks like "stock" from JWT, just check out their site.

Any opinions welcome! Thanks!

Yes. He recently swapped for a built Cosworth motor and twin GT-30s.

That's funny! The pic must have been taken before he swapped the filter. He uses a brand new, unused one for shows.

The heat shield is custom (as is almost everything on the FX). Notice the custom fiberglassed ram air tunnel leading to the air filter.

These and about 35 other black chrome pieces (ranging from bolts to hose ends to oil catch can) will be in my engine bay soon with some other different things

I had to bump the thread somehow

Are alot of the engine bay dress up pieces interchangeable in between the Z and the G?

I.E. will an engine cover for the Z fit the same for a Gc and so on?
