Thanks
Yes tein springs sit higher in the rear than front so springmounts need to be cut to make the drop even. Just search springmount mod and you will find the DIY.

And yes higher spring rate means the ride quality will be more harsh, less comfy, but the car will handle better

I ran z stechs for over a year, it was slightly stiffer but my girlfriend didn't complain. She started complaining when I upgraded to coilovers lol

For you guys with 350Z S-techs:

Which camber kits did feel were necessary? Front/rear? Thanks!

I'm on 20s, don't want to buy a full camber kit. What springs? Tanabe, s techs or h techs, g35c

I also want to ask the folks that have s-techs if the camber kits were necessary to be be in recommended camber readings.

Yes most people with the s-techs need a camber kit to get back into spec.
Especially if u do the rear spring mount mod.
Some guys don't run a kit up front because it is so much more expensive, but it will eventually pay for itself over the years.
BTW...SPCs are a real quality kit for the rears (get the toe bolts too).

350z and g35 springs are interchangeable and do not require anything extra to fit.

I'd def go with 350Z s-techs.
The reason most people go with the Z and not G stechs is because of better spring rates.
The spring rate of the G stech rears is way too soft, IMO.
It's weaker than oem.
And if your coming from a coupe with oem sport suspension you'll def want the z stechs.

How many miles do you have on the oem shocks?
If you have over 70k then I'd consider swapping out the oem shocks/struts with some tokico HPs when doing the springs.
Very affordeable alternative to other more pricey shock setups, but still good build & performance capabilities.
