22's? Disgusting! Thats a great way to ruin what could have been a tastefully modded G. Too bad

22's?

I hope its a typo. Anything over 20 is hideous.

Everything else looks good.

yeah after duties and etc etc around 2750 per wheel.. not too bad.. the tires were the killer tho. oh well.. like i said i wanted a gallardo but settled for the G for now because of alot of little reasons..

you guys might think 22 is too much but the car comes w/ 19 stock.. 20's are just too small.. i figured id do these as temps till the 20's came.. but now im really thinking about keeping em pending how much i like em on tues.

Here's an example of 22's

If you really believe 20's are small on a G35, then I have no comment

Hey but, whatever makes you happy.

why so many sets of wheels. i'm surprised you didnt spring for a bbk there. the unsprung weight on 22s is going to be insane. granted, they are very nice 22s, but still....

My intentions are definately not to insult you. So please don't take this wrong. But 22's belong in SUV's,

But hey, its your car. Do whatever makes you happy.

its funny, the rotational mass since 22 will be further away from the center but like i stated before these wheels are really light and barely weight more than stocks+tires.. and i guarantee they weigh alot less than all of the cast 20" setups out there and less than the volk GT series/etc in 20" so im not worried about the extra weight at all. as far as BBK.. their really useless unless ur doing a track or something the stock brakes have sufficient stopping power for these wheels.. honestly i figured the wheels were going to be in the 50+lb range each and then i held and weighed one and almost shat myself... their really damn light. im shocked. and the tires are paper thin and around 28lbs.

as far as modding quick. i hate having a stock car, i took everything off my s2k 2 days before trading in and wanted to get mods on the G asap.. i dont believe in waiting months and months for parts and driving around gay looking.. just not worth the little bit of $ to get stuff shipped faster. i dont go to shows so i wasnt trying to meet a show deadline.. just dont like driving around stock.

when i get the pics up of them on the car i know alot of minds will change.. im in love with these wheels. as far as everyone who still hates em, oh well. ive done alot of things in my past people thought were ugly/etc and then turned into the hottest thing, my #1 rule.. uglier is better

as far as SUV's 24's for midsize and 26-30 for big suv's
