actually i think ur supposed to not go above 4 k, but not keep the rpms constant under 4k, gotta go up and down with the rpms until 2 k to let the piston rings settle nicely.

correct, I need a combination of city and highway driving for the initial break-in period (a lot of stop and go) and I cannot go into boost (what I meant by keeping it under 3k). If I go into boost, the EU will pull crazy timing and the car will fall flat on it's face.
Aorbeta: You can't just throw it on the dyno, put your foot on the gas, and leave it at 2k rpms or whatever for 2k miles, lol. There IS a method of breaking-in an engine on the dyno, but it's very controvertial.
