Ballistic Motorsports built Forged Internals/Greddy TT/Chargespeed/Etc update w/ pix
More Pix With Wheels Mounted on Page 7!!!!
I stopped by the shop today to drop off a few things and snapped some pix. The car is basically done...just tidying up some minor things and adding subtle touches before I take it to make sure everything is perfect. Don't mind the dirty engine bay and random wires.
Quick note, the color on the kit is not off (some people had concerns in my other thread). There's a florescent light right above the front bumper and my car is FILTHY so it looks off, but it's not. The front bumper is not bolted in because the shop is getting me an alignment tomorrow (next door) and it'll be easier without the bumper. The rear bumper will be put on after the car comes off the lift, and the sideskirts are already on (but, will be taken off to paint the support rails black because you can see through the mesh and it looks retarted).
For those curious, the front bumper has about 3.5 inches of clearance from the ground (measured from the top of the ramp on the lift) and I will probably gain another .5 - .75 of an inch (255/35 front tire) when the 20's go on. This is on Tein S-tech springs. Also, the vents on the side of the bumper aren't really noticeable in person. I personally like them because they add a subtle touch, but I know some don't. The opening on the front bumper is 36 inches wide (reference for the fmic).
That's about it...enjoy the pix. Any questions/comments/concerns welcome.
Quick edit: the blue G in one of the pix was getting a Stillen S/C installed while I was there. The pink stuff they provide to attach the blower looks like bondo
