Just don't do the core. The sides and other pipes should be ok. I might try it too.

As for the wheels, I would be worried about how well it would hold up to the abuse that wheels take.

Yeah, I wasn't being totally serious about it. Maybe just paint the end tanks? But at $150 for an 8oz can....I may pass. I don't want to make a $150 mistake.

Notice that the items they painted had a super SMOOTH finish. Like glass. This stuff will show even the tiniest imperfections. He also didn't show it in the sun.

thats expensive. how much will the 8oz can cover? it would suck coming up just short and having to buy another can.

I've seen them paint a car before using chrome paint. You have to first put down a layer of black paint and its is that layer that you need to be as smooth as possible. After that, the chrome paint goes on.

they have a mercedes sl-? its either an sl500 or sl65 something like that that is completel chrome in the beverly hills mercedes dealership. thing looked tight as hell. I thought it was illegal to drive around in a chrome car though?
