I believe r34 denotes the generation and model, i.e. z33, v35, etc., while GT-R denotes the trim......so you also have regular r-34 models, i think they made an NA sedan and a single turbo as well? Also, the previous Skyline model to the r-34 was the r-33....which you coudl also get in NA, ST, and GTR trim as well....

actually i have to crrect myself i think the previous skyline to the r-34 was the r-32.....yeah i think the new car is an R35 GT-R, but it does not have the Skyline name attached. Where are all the JDM hoes to help us out on this one?
