5 Hour detail = clean

Well, i spent 5 hours today detailing the car as much as possible, got so much random gunk off the paint with some turtle wax compound i bought, for 2 bucks! I also used it on the headlights, and NO MORE CLOUDLY HEADLIGHTS! =D

Wash, clay, detailed the paint as needed in different spots, touch up some paint spots, and NXT wax coat =) (i wanted to get a 2nd in, but im so tired) Im gonna take some better photo's with a nicer camera tonight if the rain doesnt downpour like its about too outside, worse part is i have to go out =\ MY CAR! bah, w/e - it was worth it, and very much needed.

Heres some before pics, didnt take many - notice the headlight, i didnt take before pics close up cause i didnt think about doing the compound on them

clean clay, and my clay ~

Pre-wax

and some results

My once and clear headlights =)

and the random gunk on the paint that was in random spots =\

That's definately an option thats cheap on money, yet looks good

Otacon, your car looks clean. Love what you've done to your car

I would love to do a 5 hour detail to my car, but the glory would only last a few hours. I love black cars, but its just such a hassle

i used a rubbing compound from turtle wax, they have 3 i believe, a red tube (real abrasive compound), a green one (called show car shine restore) and some other one. I used the green one on everything that was on the paint, blemeshings, some light scratches and i decided to try it on the headlight, worked incredibly well, followed the instructions on the box and it did the job.

best part about it? $1.89 for a tube that i used like nothing of ~ (alot better than that plast-x **** they sell at the autostore from Maguires)

heres a link to the product:
