I used to have sunshades like those. Lil' gaps at the top still let in some heat.
Get the Infiniti sunshade specifically made for the G. Custom fit with no gaps. Keeps interior much cooler than typical supermarket sunshade.
Plus, it looks just so darn cool with the Infiniti logo on the sunshade.
