Well i did it, installed the Sportline springs on my G, all the DIY information on this site made it easier. Took me about 1 hr 45mins, i did the fronts first, the left side to about 75mins the other side was easier now that i knew what was needed. The rear was a piece of cake, finished both sides in about an hour.

Doing it myself saved me about $200 bucks, and now i can say "yeah i did it myself myself". Guess you can tell i like moding, i'm still waiting on my new car plates and the mods continue. Well here's the pics.

Took measurement before and after, it drop both the from and rear 1 1/4 inch, pretty close to specs but i think it will still settle a little more. I took it out for a ride and it still feel and handles good. I'm very happy with the outcome, bought them from Stillen on sale for $206.






Yep i have some camber, i'll wait about a week then go for an alignment. My SPC rear Camber/Toe is on the way.

nice, do you have any far distance pics of your rear droped? i wanted to see if you see a diff in the rear.

DPE_G35 No i will need to take some far distance shots. But yes there's a difference in the rear, both ends came down 1 1/4 inch lower and the springs still needs to settle.

no promblem, and did you need to roll your fenders or and cambers issues? or was it just install and go? im planning to buy this set also, can you give me a link? and is the ride better then stock? thanks alot

Thanks guys for the comments and no i didn't have to roll the fenders, there's plenty of room since i'm using my stock wheels. I don't think rolling will be needed until i go to aftermarket wheels...maybe And the camber doesn't look too bad however i'm still getting an alignment in about a week. I have the rear camber/toe kit on order. Not sure which one i'm gonna go with on the front.

looks good....i didnt think the g35 had anything for the front camber...thats why most people say go with coilovers...? I not sure though.

sweet drop... if you're keeping your stock wheels get some spacers. it'll look much better.

Without a toe/camber kit what kinds of problems would you be facing?

Basically your tire would wear out faster causing you to spend money on new ones. That's my main reason for getting my alignment back into specification, plus i prefer the look of my wheel standing straight as oppose to the top of the wheel being slanted in towards the middle of the car.
