Thumbs up

Well mine hasn't 'officially' been certified as "rare", but I truly believe it HAS to be, since I didn't even know it exsisted and neither did anyone else (Here or over in Japan...until...)

I can break it down like this:

Wanted a "Sports Steering" Wheel with the perforated dots in leather and the orange stitching found in the later models.

Problem:
1.) I have a WILLOW interior and no one knows of this option ever being offered in the years that the willow interior was made
2.) Again, I have a 2003.5 - perforated leather steering is readily found in black interiors on early? and later models, but NOT Willow early model coupes.

Solution:
After several, several months of asking around, surfing, looking, searching, wanting....for what I was pretty positive did not even exist and gave up; I was surfing on: "Yahoo! Auctions Japan" one late night and stumbled upon an auction that looked to be what I was dying for - but my eyes were tired, and I thought I must be imaging that it was WILLOW and was probably yet another later model WHEAT colored, or whatever.

I contacted Zack (RareJDM) and he snagged it for me. For weeks I was praying that the color was in fact WILLOW, and it IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Zack and I seem to think that it was some "Skyline Anniversary Edition" offered in Japan only, or something along those lines. The steering wheel is in *Near MINT* condition!!, looks to have been barely driven. I can only say that I'm extremely pleased and am thankful to Zack for helping me out - THANKS Zack!!!

Willow with Sports Leather and Amber/Orange Stitching

Thanks Guys!

Arrow

Thanks!!!!

Yeah, I'm thinking you would be hard pressed to ever run across this steering wheel ever again, or see it on anyone else's coupe - atleast in the states - (unless someone with that 'anniversary edition' on the island of cherry blossoms decides to sell theirs too, LOL)

I can say that I'm thrilled with the outcome - it is truly a dream come true!
DOMO

Thanks Guys!
