The way people spend their $ is up to them. But to me, the bling of that intake doesn't do anything for me. IMHO, it shows off a waste of $.

I'm truely amazed how Kinetix can sell these things with a straight face. What's more amazing is how freely people plunk down $ on a product with a severe lack of dyno proof. I don't trust Kinetix's dyno sheets any more than Stillen's 20-25hp gain from a catback exhaust system

yar! Maybe you should add a super-dooper-amazing bodykit and a few stickers so these guys will like your car more

Hotelcrazy never said that he dynoed the car and he was going for look and function. His car is clearly built for show as well as some go....

personally I like the look of his engine now. I would spend a few hundred to make my car stand out from the crowd too....

What function? Again IMHO, it's like installing a bunch of Tornado intakes with clear tubing to show it off.

Ok, I can speak from experience on the SSV as I have one on my car still and have had it on for the last year and a half. I do love the looks of it.... BUT it does loose TQ, I have a Vortech and before the SSV I had a crawford plenum. I dynoed the two within 2 days of each other (very similar conditions) and I kept the same HP within 2hp but I did loose 10 TQ going from the crawford to the SSV which I could definately feel as well in the butt dyno.

They do look frickn incredible in the engine bay however.

I am actually getting the Cosworth as soon as it is available (have deposit on it already) as I am hoping on getting my lost TQ back.

Congrats on a great looking engine bay!

This thread was created to show off his ssv and the engine bay...not for yet another bash on the SSV...it seems that some of the same people keep bashing on it. Let the dude show off his pics. Go back to one of your old SSV bashing threads and continue on.

Sure. "Luke, I am your father".

Sorry about giving my opinion. But it was funny for you to talk about posting "anything good" when you just threw a variety of profanity my way.

Wonderful logic. I suppose it explains the SSV choice. I actually like it. It would GREAT if it actually delivered what they claimed. I just haven't seen any independent data showing remotely close to justifing even 1/2 the retail price.

Just thought an airplane mechanic would be more critical of his mod choices. But BLING on bro, BLING it on.

Not everyone will have the same taste as you jackass. Its my money, i will spend it how ever i want and what will make me happy for what i like, not what you like. Can you not read "BRO"? I said i want something that looks good under the hood as well as give me some performance. Thats why i threw you some profanity because your one of many inconserderate, hard headed people on here and cant say anything good about anything. So because you have 7K+ posts, you all of a sudden have this big internet ego and think your better or smarter and get on here trying to get your e-***** off. Your wrong, you wont win with me JR. Noone asked for your lowsey opinion.
