no reverse threading is necessary. it's really simple, it's the same method used to remove studs. The two nuts are tighetened down against each other hence the term "jam-nut" which locks them in place, the bolt or lugnut in this case can then be backed out, no damage will be done to the threads of the nut or stud.

would look retarded since there are 5 lugs on each wheel...

unless you meant black on one side and blue on the other...

even then I wouldn't waste the money on two sets...

Wow, well it def sounds like you are sick of looking at your blue lugs.

After looking at your setup a few pages back, I do think the black would really set the Diamond Black Volks off, different blacks contrasting each other, subtle yet bold.

I hope XJONMO will trade me his, but if anyone is interested in a set of Black Rays Extended Lugs, shoot me a PM, i have a set for trade

if you are going to run colored lugs, probably anodized, you better keep your own teflon socket so you or anyone who touches the lugs doesn't scratch them. they do look hot

What color lugs should I go with when I get my new wheels? Should I stick w/short lugs or go extended?

Car is carribbean blue, wheels are a silver/grey, and brake pads are powdercoated black w/G35 in blue on them.
