yea they do say it but if you take a look at the upper mount of the teins and see how the cups are mounted you will see that the entire pressure of the springs will be pushed up against a section that is not meant for that kind of pressure. So it would be extremely unsafe. You probably COULD make it work but it is not recommended. Maybe the teins for other cars have a different type of upper mount because this kit is not only for the G35.

here is a picture of what the upper mount of the flex looks like. Notice how theres a section that extends out? Its the part the arrow is pointing at. The cup will sit below that which is not even flat. On top of that, you will then lose a good amount of height adjustability because the spring now starts a lot lower. Only the tein flex and tein cs have this type of weird upper mount.. other suspensions like Zeal, cusco, RS-R or JIC dont have that fat section on the upper mount. I believe it was designed like that for the EDFC. On most suspension, the spring goes all the way up touching the bottom of the upper mount.

Like so:

I'm running 330mm stoptechs all around.

4 pot front 2 pot rear. I believe stoptech offers a wheel fitment template.

You only have the front right? Do you have problems with the rear over bumps?

I plan to get the complete set, but don't know if I need the rear. I'm skeptical of the true coilover setup though since our car was designed that way.

Well, do you NEED it for the rear? Do you scrape on the rear the way you are right now? I found getting the rear pointless unless you have some crazy titanium exhaust that you don't want to scrape.

pretty much works exactly as I figured it would. If you attach an accessory tank to the stock tank, I imagine you only need to fill up every few times you use it.

Reminds me of the air suspension on the LR3 we have.

sweet setup mike!

Dude, you should have checked these cups. All four corners for 3,275, and you could have used your tein flex. It's shown working on an nsx but I talked to the guy who makes these and he said it works on any coilover including the tein flex rears. I'm going to get these once I get my G back from the shop.

I did see that while I was shopping around.. however I felt safer dealing with a bigger company like top secret. How can that possibly work with the flex? The flex is not a true coilover system in the rear.
