theres a compresor that pumps air into the tank. The tank has a pressure sensor so it activates the compressor when it is below a certain point. The switch is a valve connecting to the lines to allow air to go in and out of the cups. When you allow air to go in, the air pushes the cups down, compressing the spring, and raising the car. The other valve releases all the air so when the air is released, the cup goes back up to the original coilover state and the car lowers back to original height. Theres also a on off switch for the compressor so you do not have to leave it on if you're not planning to use it.

Should be no different than raising and lowering you car on a lift or with a floor jack. Alignments are for the standard position, your suspension goes up and down and left and right all thought out driving. It's the straight line that you care about.

It goes from your set driving height up, not down. If you set your front to be low as hell it will get you up to clear driveways and ramps.

yup, it starts from your lowest point, then goes up. As for the allignment, it should not matter because you're not supposed to drive around long term in its raised height. Keep in mind, after it is raised, it lasts about 5 min before it starts going back down to your normal height because the air cannot stay in there forever. The purpose of the kit is to raise your car when you need to clear something.. not to raise it/lower it constantly while driving around.. you need air suspension for that!

Remind us how much the hardware was. I think I recall you saying something around $2.6K.

is the compressor fairly loud when you're inside the car?

... also what happened to the thread that had all the pictures when you first got the roberuta kit? can you post them again?
