Nice, I was actually looking to get one of those also, they're roughly under $350 now...shipped.

less than 3 if you are a smart shopper.

list is still $560ish, and there are two versions, the CH-5 and CH-5A, only difference I could find was they weigh 27lbs/18lbs respectively.

for the 30 seconds I have to lift it in the air, I can live with the 27lbs. for the crazy price I got.

after seating 8 tires, it will have paid for itself (in my personal opinion) plus if friends want to use mine, i'll charge them a small fee. IMO, it was worth it to purchase.

Then again, i'm on the East Coast, i'm sure every corner tire shop in SoCal has one already. The closes one I could find around here was over 1.5 hours away, and via phone (without seeing my 14 wide + 315's) they couldnt even gaurantee they could bead them. Thats 3 hours of my time wasted, plus gasoline, if they couldnt do it.

Im running 15mm front and 10mm rear spacers now... I could prob get away with 30 and 25 with the skinnier tires? Im about 3 credit card widths away from rubbing the inside of the fender wells.

Yep, one of the reasons I was looking into one. Not to mention, most of shops around here struggle to mount a regular low profile tires, it's not even stretched

I can manually mount tires safely without scratching the wheels(it's a little trick to it, but takes longer than tire mounting machine), I have my Coats 700 wheel balancer. Besides not having an alignment machine, I'm pretty much set.

in a sense yes but it also varies by the tire but the point is that the idea isn't necessarly to get an EVEN stretch but not going so much as ULTRA stretch and no stretch, somewhere in the middle while taking into account the kind of clearance you need
no need to stretch beyond what clearance you need

so that is going to vary with the camber and fender work you have done or are willing and able to do

Well since my front tires arent wearing at all Im gonna throw those on the rear wheels next summer and just get skinnier front tires. I suppose Ill get the tires mounted and then figure out what size spacers Im gonna need. I suppose thats @ss backwards to how most of you guys do it.... You guys figure out your spacers and offset first.

Ive already got the rear fender lips cut off and the fronts are folded flat. I just want the rims flush with the fenders or poking out just a fuzz. camber is around -2.5 to -3 on all four corners.

no thats pretty smart to do throw the tires on and then see what size spacer.. at least you're using common sense and not creating a thread asking for magical answers

put it on and then see from there but the 225/255 on the 9/10 are good tire sizes, good wheel protection but just know if you want to go lower you'll need more fender work (pull) and more camber
