That's the STM Evo. It uses the FF (Forward facing) turbo set-up. IIRC, it's a kit you can buy, and Buschur does have it as well. You could use it on the street, but your turbo life will be decreased by A LOT. Shawna(yes a girl) @ STM ran the car back in the day with a 10. Now it's running 9's, going for 8's.

I wish I could run an FF turbo, but I don't want to be replacing turbo's all the time. I'm happy with my 450awhp/450awtq on my car. I walk most STi's if not all in my area, since most Subaru guys are afraid to even touch 400 without blowing the motor a week later. (not saying it'll happen, but I'm more comfortable with my 4G63 pushing that power)

Evo's on the other hand, STM has a stock block motor running in the 9's, trapping 140mph.

Seeing that mine is fully built, I'm looking to go for at least 650-700awhp. And if it wasn't for the damn cali cops, I would already be close to that goal.

You are aware that this tire came off at a drift event...while he was drifting...on a track, right? Incidentally, it wasn't any more "unsafe" than the other people whose tires came off. It's part of drifting. And not that I really want to get into this, but have you ever seen a car with stretched tires on the side of the road with a blown tire? I have yet to actually MEET someone who has, yet that's always a claim. Just curious if it was something you experienced or something you thought you'd bring up on the interwebs.
