Not really running the reps that people get irritated at, more like running reps and passing them off as something they aren't.

Like Vars with Volk / BBS center caps.

Even still, some people just frown on running reps all together. But its all just personal preference. Me, personally, I agree with the former. If you buy reps, be proud of what you have and don't try to pass it off as something else.
