If you look hard enough, you will see the car
two white vsxx's, had me looking back and forth cuz i thought it was the same car. not into mesh but the white really sets off the car well.
i normally dont post progress pictures. when i see a car all beat, it takes away from the finished product. you guys are making me conscious i didnt have any "professional" body work done on my car. I rolled my front fenders a little bit years ago and did poorly rolling the rears. ive been through a good share of wheels over the years, each stance progressively getting more aggressive so my front fenders would be what auto crossers call a rule book legal "rub caused roll" my suspension build has come a ways a well. there is no rub and car has been repainted. i dont have many progress pictures of the rear quarter pull but i used a fender roller, hammer and dolly to reform a lip back on the quarter.
here is before the pull as low as my quarter can go before crashing into the barrel
here is after the pull, just enough to fit the 285/30/20 but the wheel still doesnt clear the fender lip. barrels not flange will still hit the wheel arc in the same place as the picture above
cut out the extra double lip cuz it will rub the rim protector on compression. a spy shot of my spring on shock rear conversion which is currently completed.
here is a picture to show after i started forming the lip of the wheel arc. still a bit jagged here
does this put me into custom fender work? in the last picture, the pull is very minimal and the lip i reformed was there from the factory that was lost during the pulling process. thats why i said i have a small pull and slightly radiused the rear quarters.
regarding the just met her at wekfest when she wanted to take pics with my car. not to worry, my hood is fine also.
