I actually tap my rear fenders on a daily basis and nothing has cracked, so far. My fenders weren't cut, the bondo was to smooth out my fenders that I had rolled and pulled myself. Thanks for the heads up though. I'm more concerned with the fronts than I am the rears because I've buckled those before. I did just raise my car about 3mm all around so that gave me a little more clearance and has helped with that lips kissing my rear fenders.
