bro i know what contact patch is.....I'm just saying that streched 235 vs a stock 215 probably has the same if not more contact patch.....so if 215's were good enough for the eingeers at Nissan, shouldn't be a problem.

How many times do I have to remind you you dont school the G SEDAN, the G SEDAN schools you. You are dismissed young man.

not trying to debate whats right or wrong here... i respect "to each their own"

this isnt fact. just something i thought about. 215 on factory camber means all the threads of the tire are making contact with the ground. 235 stretched and negative camber wont have all of the tire thread touching the ground.

215 thread ||///\\\|| contact with the ground

235 stretched + excessive negative camber ||///\\ contact with the ground

im sure each thread of the tire is designed for a purpose.

i dont know exactly why drifters have negative camber prob to lose traction and slide around but for track, negative camber is for when hard turns are made.

for example
when a car makes a hard right turn, the weight of the car shifts the right side of the tires from negative to a bit more positive which equals to more traction when making turns.

the only reason why i brought up traction and rain with negative camber is because my alignment guy said it was dangerous to drive -3.25 on rainy days because of traction.

we use camber to make the rims fit, its not like were taking super hard turns on the streets anyways.

plus camber makes the *** of the car look so sexxy
