Okay everyone keeps asking me what I did. Well I pretty much got rid of the bucket spring and placed the spring on the coilover. This is the same method that the Stance True Coilover is done.. Here is a quick pic on how it looks before adjusting the collar...

What spring did you use though, thats not the normal spring?? You order new front springs to swap on there???
Well he got the coilovers used and I think it came with the shorter spring that BC offers. So I just placed it on the coilover.. And to answer Don,, yes the bucket it still there cause that is our Toe rod, just does not have the spring on it, like Stance does... And if you want a stiffer spring rate you should wait a couple of weeks cause these new Coliovers I'm testing have higher spring rates for slammed cars..
A real shoot will be up soon, we are just getting every thing ready for the big Import Reactor show here in a couple of weeks..

Wow, that's low. I'm assuming you still got the spring bucket there, just that the spring is not on it, right?
What's keeping the spring compressed on the top? Hard to tell...and yeah that's exactly how the stance coils are. Out of curiosity though, wouldn't spring rate need to be changed? I'm not sure or anything, just curious because I know Stance rates their rear spring rates as 5k and they say it's equivalent to a 10.8k spring rate or something. I swapped my 5k's for an 8k and noticed a slight difference...could be stiffer...I think I need 12k, wonder that would equate to an OEM style spring rate.

The springs will be much stiffer in the "true coilover" fashion that Royal shows in his pictures. So "true coilovers" usually have softer spring rates do to the effect of moving the spring placement But on a slammed car the stiffer rate is likely what you would want.

and by moving the spring from OEM placement to the "true coilover" placement makes the rates exponentially higher, I think Pispo was asking if that was a true statement or not.
