Aggressive Wheels & Stretched Tires: Post 'Em Up! [[Some NSFW]]
^ EuroDre, do you have any more shots showing the 245 stretch you got....
I keep going back and forth between 235 and 245 on a 10.5, I'm not sure what I wanna go with.
I figure 245 would be safer since this is for the front wheels and they'll be taking a lot of bumps so more tire meat is always good.
what do you think ?
this is 245/35 Nankang NS2 on a 10' rim, I know the General Exclaims run a bit bigger so would a General 245/35 look like this on a 10.5 ?

but damn 10.5 up front? i mean it all depends on how low you are or want to go but if the tire will be right up to that fender then you can do a 245/35 but get a tire that runs true or large,
i got generals which run large, so the stretch will be more on those tires that run true or small, like some nankangs, federals and hankook v4s or v12s i forget which

Dang at -5 and it still wont work crazy.... don't miss up your fenders, not worth it. I wouldn't go back to stock but not sure the 5mm would give you more clearance.
What does it look like in the back without spaces? It's gotta be pretty flush..
Welcome to the fitment game, some ppl don't realize how tough it is to get the right fitment.

do you have the dampenings set at full stiff all around? it sounds like you are driving too fast or are set on soft dampenings, might want to correct those
and honestly to be bold with you, if it keeps rubbing after you have done the above then your best bet IS to pull the fenders i mean if you want to get into that fitment game pulling fenders is just a necessary thing

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure the guys here would tell you 255 on 10.5 is too weak of a stretch for what you're trying to do, you can see what I mean in this pic, not enough stretch.
Just do 235/35 and I think you're good to go, I think that's your only option. I personally am doing 235/35 on my 10.5's up front.
this pic looks fckin sick bro, money shot!

Yea i might have to run a 245. Thats a tiny tire back there. What are you running up front? 225?

Dre I just want to have no wheel gap at all, that's the height I want.... oh I got the perfect example for you, ToeKnee's height is exactly what I'm lookin for, here's a pic. So it can work right ? with a general 245/35 i mean ?
this is exactly the stance I'm goin for, same height and same clearances.

yah man put it to full stiff and then up to you, but my suggestion is pulling the fender, just get someone who knows how to do it
and yeah i got a 225/35 up front
tiny tires, but its the BARE minimum, smallest tires that should be run on a g35 coupe haha but i have very minimal rub

like i said a pull is pretty much necessary for doing fitment like that especially for a tire in the front that has to turn and will be having the weight shift on its either side, yah stiff coils and a pull

Quick question. What exactly do they do for a fender pull? Just heat and pull or roll it out with a bat? My fenders are double welded so its going to be tough and the reason i steered away from that was i dont want wavy looking fenders.
naw you gotta buy a fender roller basically its an arm that hooks on to your wheel hub and has a rolling wheel at the top and you heat up the fender and put it on the fender portion and roll back and forth while pulling towards you
shane has been doing it for a long time and can give you more tips and advice on that
