Planning on ordering some rims but I need some input. The sizes I am looking at are 20x9.5 -4 or -6 20x10.5 -8 or -12 and going with a rim that has a step lip. My question is what do I need to do in order to make these work? I am okay with rolling and pulling fenders and with stretching tires. I also understand I need to run a true coilover as well. Do you guys think I would need aftermarket control arms? What else would I need?

negative in the front will require alot of camber. -8 for the rear is not a good idea unless u know what ur doing. It wont fit, unless u dial -4 or more camber. Just ask rob or costag

And you don't need a true coilover. Who told you that? The wheel will move the exacT same way, with a true or stock style!

Well from what I was reading on this thread, when he was running his work vs-xx he was running 20x9.5 +16 but with the spacer he ended up running he was able to achieve a -12 in the front.

He also stated that he only had to run -4.5 degrees camber in the front and he did that by buying the spc arms which is what i will buy as well or something similar. A

Now for the rear I am not sure but judging by his pictures I don't think he was running that much camber in the rear and there is NO way that is -8 degrees.

From what I have read and seen on my350z (not too sure how much of a difference there is in space for wheels between the z and the g) but here is a pic of a guy running 19x9.5 -6:






I understand this is a 19in rim versus what i want to get but obviously this is about 6 degress more positive offset then what Robzone ended up achieving with his spacer set up.

Also the red Z picture below is at 19x10.5 -15 but not sure what his camber settings are but that is on stock suspension with coilovers.

I was told if you wanna ride slammed then you have to go with a true coilover set up and it allows for more rear camber adjustment. I could be wrong though but you probably have more experience in this then i do so please enlighten me.

i remember reading somewere that there would be no reason to have one of those camber plates ON the coilovers, because camber plates come on some coilovers but i remember reading that its useless for g35s

also I would do a cusco front (and rear if possible) from what I know cusco gives you the most amount of adjustability even more than spc

The coilover itself has nothing to do with camber, or being able to adjust it. Most of the time tru coilovers do allow you to drop your car more than the split setups, but not always!!!
