You should get the 18x9.5 +20 or +12 and stretch a tire on there. the 8.5 will not work. So I take it with your X you are not going to run staggered?
mpg i HIGHLY suggest searching around a LOT, you yourself admited that you don't know anything about fitment so how will asking for a handout help? not trying to be a dick but giving you honest advice, search around for a good while it will do more good in the long run
reason why its not good to "ask for offsets" is because we don't know how comfortable you are with driving low and what kind of fitment you are comfortable with
some people can deal with more rubbing, some can't, some have bad streets, roads or living area does not allow for what they want.. so i would suggest dropping your car and going from there

quoted for teh truth
you cant just jump into this fitment stance thing fresh, especially if you dont know anything about it. I know a lot of people are wanting to do it because its the cool thing to do or whatever, but take your time and figure it all out before doing it man, its not easy
me for example i knew i wanted to roll like this 2 years ago, finally last year i started doing resreach on what kind of wheels i wanted roughly, and only months ago did i finalize specs thanks to some of the guys in this thread and placed an order for my wheels, so it took me a solid year of work to finalize everything. now im weeks away, but i know for a fact that i did it the right way not jumping into it blindly
definitely not something you can achieve from one post bro, take your time and browse around here get some perspective

+1 on both Dre's and Adon's comments.
You also have to understand that lots of people have switched wheels back and forth trying to achieve their ideal stance and look. Some go through 2 or 3 sets of wheels within a short time.
The flush look is the new "in thing" (for lack of better words) and its great to run with the crowd and be noticed. Don't get me wrong, I love the flush look and I would love to run it, but with what I do for a living and how much I drive, I cannot justify having to run stretch or negative camber at this time. Once my career field changes and I can make some more money, I'll be leaning towards the end. Remember that you also have to take that into consideration as well.
So just be patient, do some reading, do some research, and then come back with lots of knowledge. We all had to start somewhere. I just bought this car in February, and I've learned a lot from the guys from Shyne and others on this forum, not by PM'ing them or starting my own threads, but by reading their previous posts in other threads.
There's a lot more to the fitment game then you would think. Gotta pay to play.
