Fakies are fine, it's just the people who choose the ugliest ones who should be sent to a special place. LOL!!!

It's one thing to have replicas, but to have replicas and put the real company's name on them is a totally different thing. Take for example body kits. how many people in this G community actually has an authentic kit? Only a very few, but the majority has replicas.

As for wheels, I don't see much wrong with replicas as long as they have the cert's, and the people don't go around saying they're authentic.

Part of the reason why I got the T1S is because of the build. Difficult to beat Work barrels, they are one of the best out there. I've had cheap rims and thought they looked nice, but they took less of a beating that my Work wheels and got damaged quite easily.

For some, spending several grand on a set of wheels is not an option. I can side with people getting replica wheels to save money if they look good and they want an upgraded look from factory, no harm in that.

Another reason that I like my T1S' and some other wheels, even though they cost so much, is because even though you can get something that looks similar, there are fine details that make a HUGE difference. Leon Hardiritt Gral's look soooo sexy. Similar to the Varianza W5S, but the lines on the Gral are a bit different and more defined and pop out a bit more. Comparing those two is like comparing a similar looking wheel to one of the expensive ones, there will be differences between the two.

Now I know replicas are a bit of a different story since they're supposed to look the same. And if they do, I don't know, but the Varrstoens or whatever, do look different to me than the TE's. Plus you have wheels like Rota and Sevas that suck. If buying replicas, make sure they're quality replicas and don't go brag about saying they're real (i'm not directing this towards anyone since I haven't seen anyone do it).

come on, who doesnt want nice wheels (every1 does) it just depends how deep your pockets are, and more importantly, how BADLY you want them and how high up they are on priority list of items you should be spending money on instead.

wheels were my first mod on my g, back when i joined the site and they will be my last after that i am done. i used to like chrome at the time i bought my g i really liked the style of wheels 'psycraft' had on his blk g, but at the time i couldnt afford a nice looking wheel as DPE so i took the cheaper route, and to this day i got the most compliments on my wheels from non-g owners (even though it is def not my fav mod on my car anymore), overtime years my taste has changed but i still cant justify spending as much as i'd like to on a set of wheels, so when the time is right for me i will make that switch..hope that made sense

I'm SO gonna rock my T1S replicas and say there real..lol Others wont care if there real or not, They'll just say nice wheels-nice ride.

I dont see nothing wrong with having replica wheels and having the actual name brand center caps.

May look the same, but the quality probably won't be, especially the barrels. If HRE can't get the barrels from Work, I doubt some company trying to produce replicas will.

Need to go lower I know.... How much room do I have if I remove the washers? I have Tein Flex and its maxed out in the rear. 19x9.5 +2 (235/35/19) 19x10.5 +3 (255/35/19)
