It won't die out, although it can move into a new direction. The whole aggressive offset and stretched tire thing has been going on for a while, it's just that more and more people are catching onto it and joining in on it.

E30 FTW though..I'm still looking for a decent 325ix coupe for the winter..word is they leave any 4x4 in the powdery dust
You could find one in decent shape for around 3-4k probably..as with any older car it depends on condition, maintenence done, etc.
But remember then you gotta factor in the euro grill/trim, coils and BBS RS/Borbet A's/Futuras in there too

It blows bro...I had a lot of electrical problems. Make sure you have a warranty...you'll need it.
BMW's and easy maitenance never go hand in hand. Although, you see more E30s still on the road compared to E46s. After coils, wheels, and some reconditioning, you will probably spend around 8-9K.
