A guy from a local forum lives in Japan and often posts pictures of the meets he attends here are a bunch from the one meet.

Apologies for the blurriness in some of the pictures as well as all of them being taken from ground level (I didn't bring my tripod). The first few are also grainy cause I was taking them while standing and at high ISO.

I thought my car was low and had too much camber and offset in the back but some of these guys' cars were just ridiculous.

P.S. The people that talk about "Hellaflush" and whatnot, don't know what the **** they are talking about until they see the stuff rolling around here.

(And before anybody asks, yes... this guy was driving around like this. The car does not have air-sus.)
<I believe this may be the same guy that I've seen before in another Youtube video but he changes the wheels)

You should see the tacky interiors that some of these guys have. Neons, blinking LEDs, furry things covering the entire dash, pull curtains on all windows...

As for comparing the level of cars over there... whether one would consider the car clean or not, the amount of money spent on the average car is much higher than what you would see in Edmonton. All of the parts used on vehicles are always name brand with a lot of professional custom work done. (Keep in mind, space and time are limited in Japan so this costs big bucks but people do it anyway because they don't have the provisions to do it themselves). Maybe one could say the Japanese take it too far in order to get attention. I can appreciate this more than somebody in a near-stock domestic with a fart cannon on some cheap knockoff wheels like Motegi or Sportmax. In Japan you will see more than your fair share of rice. While no doubt, it may be tacky or flamboyant it's undeniable a lot more money was spent (easily more than $50,000) than your average punk driving around the streets of Edmonton in his rust bucket, starving for attenition.

I'd love to get an old Datsun like that and stance it.
I agree with Monard, the fender work is really well done.

its rare that you see pick up trucks such as dodge and ford back in japan. so its like seeing a supra/rx-7/r32-34s over here.
