Are you in the same club as the guy with the white M5 with the similar presidential style seal on his car?

^ nah, different team. if that M5 was at SEMA, my guess is that john from heavy hitters asked the owner if he could have the decal put on.

I'm so late but if I still had my old IP G, it would look like your car now. Congrats man. You've done a phenomenal job with the mods. Excellent taste

How do you like the GTM turbo kit vs the Greddy one?

Thanks man. I don't have any experience with the Greddy kit, but initially looked at it (and the JWT kit) due to easier options for mounting my coolers. I also didn't want to move around all of the reservoirs, etc. I had in my engine bay. The pricing on the GTM kit was compelling enough, however, that I went that route anyway. The only minor gripe I have thus far is that I still haven't found a suitable place to put my coolers - the transmission and oil coolers are now mounted between the intercooler and radiator. I want to put them back behind the vents in my kuruma so I may end up standing them up long ways so they clear the GTM I/C and intake piping.

I've finally got around to posting the pix from the turbo build

Dropped the car off 1 mile under 83k

Old engine bay...so long Vortech. It has a very nice home now

Engine is out

Rob & Josh having fun

A few pix of the engine with the transmission, momentun headers, and ART pipes installed.

Tear down begins...

Lucy's guts just sitting there on a rack

Time for paint, polish, & chrome!

Front timing cover professionally polished this time...doing it by hand with it in the car was no fun

Alternator, crank pulley, and power steering pump

Finally...everything arrives from GTM

strip tease...

Stage 4 transmission

Snails

On with the motor build!

...and installing all the shiny new stuff

Not much room for the turbos

Almost ready

Up she goes

The bigger intercooler meant I needed to move my coolers...still need to find a better location...

As she sits today
