bigc's coupe - Twin Turbo 5AT
What trans were you running before the GTM Stage 4? That the same one Rcdash was running?
Oh yeah- and looks fantastic, by the way. I went slightly polished as well but the road salt and elements just destroyed it. Yours is definitely in a different league but it's good to know how nice it CAN look if the right effort (and money) is put into the right places!

Boosted 5AT are a ton of fun..they generate more torque and are quicker.
There are undoubtedly some things that take some getting used to or anticipating- and that seems to vary trans to trans... but once you figure out the quirks it becomes predictable and second nature. You guys heel / toe shift, we learn to anticipate.
Don't be - I hardly ever bump this thread
Thanks man. Yes, I like the auto very much. You don't lose boost on shifts when racing...car just seems like it will keep pulling until you chicken out.
I was on the stock transmission with valve body upgrade and external oil cooler when I had the vortech. I can't recall who built Raj's transmission (will edit this post if I can find his sale thread), but I tried to buy it when I was planning this build with Z Car Garage. He sold it before I made up my mind.
Thanks man. Yeah, its a pain to keep polished stuff looking nice if you have to deal with bad weather or even the occasionally rain shower. I was lucky when I lived in socal since it hardly rains there. Up here, I just try to wipe down the timing cover and other polished stuff after it rains.

I think it stated somewhere that it made 450whp. Chris correct me if I'm wrong.

Laughing at the image saying you got the timing cover finally professionally polished. I remember thinking you were crazy when you said you did it by hand while on the car for as long as you did. But it already looked perfect.
One of California's best.

looks awesome.. After i save up some money I was thinking about doing the turbo or the LS.. I might just go with a setup like yours since a lot of folks were telling me I would need a manual transmission with the LS
