The diffuser overlay doesn't look very good because it doesn't go under the bumper and costs too much IMO compared to a can or two of spray paint.

i did two of primer and three of paint. it helps if you can lift the back up. i wasnt able to lift it and didnt feel like taking the bumper off but it wasnt too bad

how do you tape the groove?

did you paint it too or left it?

with automotive masking tape, 3/8" is a good width to use.

painted the groove too..
taping is the tricky part. gotta have a steady hand.
i think if i left the groove, it woulda gave it a "lip look" so i painted it as well
