^it was my first attempt at an overlay install and I had some concerns but the material moves pretty easily with the soapy water. Take your time and don't get frustrated.....just get another beer!

^very true though...lol. When I started to get frustrated, I opened another beer and took a ten minute break. Two beers later, the overlays, lined up, wrinkle and bubble free. Beer is good!

hey nice DIY...instead of using vinyl you guys think it would be a good idea to paint it black using a good high heat spray can? (And if it looks terrible then just vinyl over it)

some dude painted his not too long ago. looked clean!

Paint is a good option. A bit more labor intensive. If and when I pull my exhaust, I may go that route now that I like the look. The overlay was very simple though.

^ i assumed it would be less labor intensive (just alot of masking of the rear bumper)

Does the part come off? (would be alot easier to paint)
However I find when taking things apart you never get that OEM fit again

lol, still only the one on the RR. the other 3 are sitting inside refinished. But yes, they will look good.

cannisters and tips got polished though, as well as removing the G35
