If you have the cash to get your kid a DB9 you have the cash to pay for the repairs.

Its stupidity. I am inexperienced and I do not go out and crash into a pole in a parking lot. I am 17 too so I am as inexperienced as you can be. Do all inexperienced drivers crash into a pole? or anything stationary for that matter? No. Do humans that do stupid things crash into stationary objects? All the time. Last time I checked Professional drivers do stupid things for the fun of it and slip up some times. They have more experience than me and some other teen put together. That is just plain stupidity IMO.

As humans we do "stupid" things for fun. Now, not all stupid things are "fun". But think about it: we jump out of air planes, drive at 150+mph, chocking game(don't flame because kids do it for fun, there was a great news story about it, IMO it is Dumb on every level. I am just prooving a point), Bungy jump, etc. Why do we do stunts? Because they are fun, but most are stupid(Jump a bike over burning cars and what not). That is what us humans do because we enjoy it.

Now I am sure that the kids father or mother worked very hard to buy their kid that car. Just as some of the teens parents did to buy them a G35. Thing about it. Poor family laughs at the teens who crash the G35 just as we laugh at a kid who crashed a db9. The teens parents can afford the G obviously so it is no big deal. Same thing with the db9. Sure you may flame the hell out of the teen because for a majority of us we are middle class or live comfortably. Therefore we KNOW the value of the dollar since we have to get up every day and work our butts off to afford what we do.

Now the family with the db9 may work just as hard as us but get paid a bit more. But that is another story for another thread. The fact of the matter is they can afford the db9 as we can afford the G35. No big deal. You know what, I know for sure you would flame the hell out of a kid who crashed a 1994 civic that was worth $2000.

Now I really hate to say this but maybe you guys are jealous on the inside. But who knows, I can't tell for sure so I am not going to judge you. But that family is a bit more financially secure than most of us and that is all that matters.

I would like to say I do not intend to bash anyone so please take offense. If you do let me know. This is just how I see it. Thanks for your time guys.

Poor car....We don't know if they are financially secure. Nice car doesn't mean they are financially secure...They could have won the lotto and pissing the money away. There are many millionaires lotto winners that end up broke. There's a show about it...Anyways, just because you drive a nice car doesn't mean you are financially secure...Could be a rental...Who knows...Just an accident on the kid and dad's part...

True, very true. BUT how stupid can you be to buy your kid a 1/4 million dollar car than? Plus if the parents are buying it you would think they are not driving a corolla.
