My G35 on a college student budget....

But as for updates, as some of you remember, I was the one that had my car vandalized about 2 months back. (paint thinner all over the car).
To answer some questions.
1) Nope, the cops never found out who did it.
(orland park police didn't even look at the tape according to the lady at Orland Park Mall security)
2) Insurance took care of everything. Got it repainted black. They went all out with the repairs. I got 2 new stock headlights (so no overlays anymore). They fixed all the door dings I had. Fixed a mini hole that I had in my rear. And they even resprayed my stock rims black since they were peeling a little bit.
3) I was without my car for 1 month. They originally said 2-3 weeks when I dropped the car off. 2 weeks go by, I call them, and they have YET to begin on the car. I'm like WTF?? But its because they had a disagreement with the insurance company.
The insurance company only wanted to give $3,000 for the entire job. Which includes stripping all of the paint, repainting, replace headlights, etc. They eventually bumped it up to $6,500 and 2 weeks later I get my car looking brand new. Even the interior was cleaned up 100%. So glad to have my car back. Car has pretty much been in the garage the past 2 weeks. Don't want to get the beautiful paint dirty with all this snow.
On a bright note, monday is my 21st birthday, so I'll be buying myself an HKS exhaust + Tein Basics
And as for the grill, that mesh was just something I tried to see how it looked. It looked really wavy so I replaced it with a much stiffer mesh that I painted black.
Theres a local meet coming up in the coming weeks, so I'll have plenty pictures of it soon. Here are the last pictures I took before the incident.

wasn't aware my thread got bumped. Anyone, I've made a thread to update, but not sure where that went. So i'll update it here.
1)Sold the springs that I was going to put on the G, and got Tein Basics instead.
2)Took the tint off the front windows after getting way too many tickets.
3) Installed the Motordyne Spacer
4) Front lip cracked right in the middle, so took it off for now
5) I have side skirts waiting to get painted
6) I have rear splash guards waiting to get installed.
