Went to the mall a few minutes from my house. I was only there for a good 20-30 minutes. I come out, and I notice that there's something on my car. From far away it looked like a garbage back on the top of it, because of all the bubbling paint... but as I got closer, I was way off.

Turns out someone poured paint thinner all over my car. I doubt this was aimed directly as me, because no one knew I was going to the mall, and they would have to coordinate it perfectly. No crazy ex-gf's, no real enemies, my guess is there was just some ignorant person who wanted to mess up something he couldn't have.

Well anyone, I go back inside the mall to talk to security, they can't really help. (Shouldn't they have cameras???) They tell me to go to the police station a few minutes away. So I show up there, hoping they dont tag on a tint ticket, and I end up filing a police report. Cops comes out to check out my ride and laughs in disbelief at how horrible it is. The paint thinner is ALL around the car. The only body part left untouched was my rear bumper. Insurance should take care of it, but still have to pay the expensive deductible Only bright spot is that I should be getting a complete respray, since my paint already had numerous scratches & swirls on it. I wonder if they would let me repaint the car a different color, or will they not give me that option?
