2 crazy events on the 5 freeway in 2 weeks
So i was driving back from a show and saw traffic was building up and was like wtf? i thought i was going to beat traffic and noticed we were stopped for 2 minutes without moving and so i got out of the car and noticed the freeway was blocked. I remembered i had my camera in the trunk so i took some shots.
Story is that some guy tried to jump off the bridge but was stopped by the police :/ Not sure how they stopped him but all i know is that this A$$ hole who wanted attention made me late by 1 hour!!
Then the next week on my way up to LA we noticed black smoke and didnt think anything of it until we saw that it was RIGHT in front of us so i grabed the camera again and took these shots...
Story on this one is that the big rig actually hit a blue 350Z and hit the sound wall and bursted into flames. Kinda scary because it couldve blown up and we were no more then 20-30 feet from the truck.
Anyone notice the mother to the top left corner who brought her little kid to see the flaming truck thats can blow any minute if one spark goes off by the tank??
On the way back home 2 hours later, the truck was getting put onto a tow truck.
so im now going to keep the camera in the front seat just incase stuff like this will happen again.

I'm glad my camera phone is 2MP - good enough for those times when you really need a pic of something.

No sorry man, when i was taking the shots of the truck on fire we were going about 5mph and on the way back it was at around 50-60mph so i just aimed the camera at the direction of the truck and lucked out on that shot, its was the only shot that came out good. all the other ones were mostly of my headliner or cars blocking everything.
I'm just wating for an over-turned Corona truck.
my new office is right down the street off Alicia parkway. it was drama trying to get on the freeway that day. I saw the whole thing. stupid people wanting attention.
