wow lot of good work in here, props to you guys who do it yourself. I had to pull something crazy out of thin air just to compete with all you crazy ***** here. I'm expecting to finish them in about 2 weeks, and will post pics when complete.
here's a quick rundown of what I'm doing
- turn signal projector lens with massive badass red LED for demon eye blinker effect
- city light clearance cut out and using white plastic trim you see cut in the pics that will diffuse the light from the individual led's giving it the effect of one long light as opposed to a bunch of led dots, you can see in the darker pictures I took where I tested how the plastic diffused the light, and that's just from 1 keychain led, so it works well.
- blacking out the bottom daylight reflector housing (i know some of you may not like this, but I'm not running any bulbs in there anyway)
- last on the list is I'm getting rid of the grooves on the bezel, gonna make it all nice flat and smooth, you can see all the Tamiya modeling putty all over the lights... gonna sand it down tomorrow and lay on another layer of putty

thx, Jon, and yea Vert yea lot of sanding, but **** I was hesitant to buy the putty that comes with the hardener the little green bottle on the side, I did it because Tamiya is high end plastic putty for modelers, but I just went to the garage to see if the putty had dried, it's still soft and it's been around 6 hours... I don't think I mixed in the right amount of hardener on. Fck, i'm fcked if it doesnt dry, lol
hey Sick, what type of lifespan are we talking with these LED's ?? are we talkin weeks or months ? i dont mind swappin them out every few months, but every few weeks would get quite annoying.

Anyone have a picture of 03-05 taillights all blacked out except for the reverse light? Thinking about doing that but would like to see how it looks first lol. Preferably on a black coupe. Thanks!
