slowly getting there.... took me 2 hours to sand this down right, check out the difference

 

^what are you plans for them? i did a set of 03-05 headlights that i filled all the lines in to smooth out. it was a pita but looked really nice when it was done

well my plans are pretty much what you see in the picture, smooth it out, have a transparent white piece of plastic there as my city strip one long piece to diffuse the LED strip underneath it giving it the appearance of one long LED light instead of a bunch of dots...
I just finished wiring everything up, now I just gotta paint my bezels, put everything back together and I'm done... will tackle this next week, busy for the next few days

ALMOST COMPLETE !!!! well the headlights at least, you can tell in the video the car is still on crutches







my DRL daytime running lights in action, the bottom led strip I chose a very dim style, twice less brightness than the one in the headlights, I will be putting it inside my bumper vent facing down towards the ground for a smooth glow effect...no led dots in my headlights, just a smooth diffused strip of light, and a nice subtle glow emitting from my bumper inlets

cant tell you how they are holding up b/c i did them for a customer. they were sold abotu a year ago and i havent heard anything back so i assume they are still great. i didnt lay a ton of mud in there and i prepped the area really well so i can imagine they would ever have a problem. good luck with yours. looking good so far

 

Adon, do they make those solid strips in other colors? very interested in that.

 

Might be a stupid question, but in the last picture, what is that button looking thing just to the left of the white reverse light?

hey buddy, yea the guy I get them from is local he has his website and here is a direct link to all the led strips he has. http://autolismo.com/led_strips.html
The one I have inside my city light is easily the brightest one he has, it's packed with led's... the one on the bottom I am putting inside my vent is fairly dim since I only want a glow like effect. I think they either come in blue or white, check out the link I sent you.

Actually one of his strips also comes in RED LED, I got that one as well I will be putting it in my rear to glow over my license plate.

 

2 in the fckin morn and after a month working on them finally finished my headlights. Here's some pictures and vids I just took 5 mins ago.

Red blinkers as you can see, and also one clean strip of light no LED dots to be seen unless you're looking super close

 

Looks awesome bro, even though i usually HATE white, it flows real nice.

 

yeah man looks nice adon, will go nicely with the cocaine white
