thats what i was wondering too... my friend got his trunk painted Magenta and it doesnt look like that... but from some of the pictures u can tell theres a little bit of pink in it...

 

its house of kolor candy magenta, the base coat is a lil different, looks like fushcia more. need to see it in the light.

pic number 8 shows the color well.
