still haven’t installed mine Had it powder coated with some other parts - and the other parts got botched - they are now being black chrome plated, so the bar and hardware is too - the brackets are staying PC though so I don’t have to ruin the Rare JDM plate (it would have to be removed to go through stripping if I were to plate it)... it should look good once its done - but I am anxious to get my car together and install this bar to put it through its paces.

honestly I don’t even know yet... I've had a bunch of hose ends, a couple fittings, and oil catch can, pithon fluid caps all in for quite a while (I know all that stuff is $200)... I picked up some of the parts and liked how they turned out so I dropped off the strut bar, nuts, washers and allen bolts to be plated along with a bunch of engine compartment bolts and washers... we didnt even discuss the price for the recent parts I dropped off

I'm waiting on some custom billet clamps for z-tube to be finished so I can plate them and a different design tbs... I never (rarely) do one thing at a time so its always hard to say how much one part cost... next time I go, I'll ask how much the bar alone would be and let you know.

I don’t have it yet... picked it up from PC on Thurs and (all the stuff I mentioned in post above) - dropped at plater... it will be end of next week (at earliest) before I have it... I'm hoping to install it next weekend - but I've been hoping that for the past TWO weekends

I get the plating done through Linco in Anaheim... they do stripping (for my powder coater) - and a long time ago I found out they have a source for black chrome plating... I don’t know who the send it to for plating (it has to be stripped by them anyway) - so I just take everything to them – they strip it, have it polished and plated and I p/u from them.

If you are interested call Dean: 714-635-2800... let him know Mike Riggs referred you ~

I suppose I could have started my own gig and had everyone send to me for plating

I've never done that though... All my sedan bros know my sources (except one little trick, for now)... I'm not sure what to do to be different anymore - but its kinda cool to have a select few with similar look... we need to all hook up some day and unite - oh wait... I think it might be in the works {ssshhhh, don't ask, details are being worked out behind the scene}
