Here's one more. The only one I tried HDR but only had two pics to try it with so it didn't come out the best. It was the middle of the afternoon and into the sun too.

Nice shots Tim!

I'm gonna have to give HDR a shot sometime. Never attempted it... What do ya do? take shots in RAW files and overlap them?

Sorta. You take 2-3 shots at different exposures, one dark, one normal and one bright. There is a program you use to blend them. In fact I know where you can get a copy. I'll send you a PM.

I didn't get any but some of the other guys may have some. Triji and Speedraver have threads with a lot more pics.

I just put 2 more coats of P21S on yesterday and want to head out at sunset tonight and give it a try

take a pic at a +2 exposure setting, a pic at 0 exposure setting and a pic at "-2" exposure and use photomatix (sp?) to do it magic in hdr.
