cool rims but they seem to be the new volks where everyone is getting them. I guess seeing them so much they don't seem to set the car off that well.

*sigh*

The VS-XX has been around for a long time. It's one of those wheels that is a timeless/classic design. It comes in countless finishes, several disks and diameters, and custom offsets. Same goes for many other wheels from many other companies, Work and Volk being among them.

Not you specifically, but you hear people on the INTERNET throw out the term "played out" once in awhile for certain wheels. Work S1, Volk GT-S & Time Attacks, are the ones I hear the most often. Let's think about this for a second though....how many sets of these actually seen around there area in person? How many of those were on a Z? How about a G? And of those, were they all the same color and specs? C'mon people...a forum is not representative of reality.

I don't care how much people say the VS-XX's are "played out", they are still one of my favs and the sexiest wheels you can have on a G or Z.

That is true.. I've had my G for about a year and have only seen one G with the VS-XX.. and of course it was parked and in front of F1 motorsports. Beautiful wheel.. if they had not discontinued the burning black finish I would have ordered them.

PS.. Is there a way of getting the VS-XX's powdercoated to match the burning black color?

It's a true 3pc wheel, so you or a shop could take them apart and powdercoat the centers. The only hard part is being able to match burning black.

Try and pick up a set of used ones in BB.

I guess "worth it" is relative. People wait anywhere from 2-6mos. for custom-order Volk/Work/iForged etc... so it's not that big of a deal, to get what you want.
