That's what I'm talkin' bout Cal. Happy to provide you with the inspiration (even if it wasn't my work)! These are so money. Can't wait till we do our shoot in a couple of weeks. That UWA lens gives you more than enough room for one (or two) more cars for some rig chase shots.
This is exactly the type of location I was thinking of, I'll definitely be shooting there in the future. Any cars drive by when you shot these? What time of the morning did you shoot them (can't view the exif data at work).
I love the perspective on these, very low to the groud. I love how the lines on the road go to the edge of the photo. AWESOME work

I'm drooling just thinking about the chase shots. Those are gonna turn out so SICK! I shot these at about 7:15 I think. I left my house at 6:55 and it takes about 5 minutes to get there.
There were three cars total, one being a cop. He was actually very cool about it. We actually talked for about 10 minutes. He was just making sure I wasn't some punk kid up to some trouble (little did he know ).
I also love the yellow lines in the road. They came out great.
Can't wait to meet up with you. Do you have any vacation days? I think the weekdays are the best. Less traffic. The weekends have more cars, joggers, bikers, etc.
